        Order Confirmation

        As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

        Cancellations & Refunds

        All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped.  If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.

        Order Shipment

        If your order is stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship as soon as possible (see individual product descriptions for lead times). We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at sales@trashcansdepot.com.

        Shipping

        All of our merchandise is sold FOB Factory using a carrier of our choice. We ship merchandise to your place of business or home anywhere in the contiguous (48) United States. Additional charges may apply for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other destinations outside of the 48 states and for non-standard delivery services. These items usually ship via UPS or FedEx, although Trash Cans Depot reserves the right to ship using another carrier.

        For oversized items above 75 lbs, products with an unusual shape or size, or customer orders with large total weights, we will ship via common carrier truck.

        To expedite delivery of your products, please include a physical street address, as we are not able to ship to a P.O. box. For common carrier truck shipments, please be aware that the driver will bring the freight only to the back of the truck (known as tailgate delivery). You are responsible for offloading the merchandise delivered to you.

        Special Shipping Services

        For an additional charge, you may request special or expedited delivery services, such as airfreight, over-night, or second-day delivery. The common carrier truck companies also offer a variety of services like inside delivery, lift-gate delivery, or notification prior to delivery. Additional charges for these services may apply. If you need any other special services, contact us at sales@trashcansdepot.com for assistance. In some cases, prepayment may be required.

        These special services include:

        • Lift-gate delivery recommended for heavier or larger shipments, where no loading dock is available. The lift gate only lowers the merchandise to street level. You must then remove the shipment from the lift.
        • Call before delivery recommended when you need the common carrier truck company to contact you 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery.

         Returns/Damaged Shipments

        All shipments are insured against damage in transit. Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If your shipment shows any sign of visual damage, please send an email to returns@trashcansdepot.com and include the following information so we can process a claim on your behalf:

        • Order #  
        • Which item(s) are damaged
        • Images of the damages to packaging or items

        We'll respond to your email within 24 hours and help get you a replacement product.

        If damage to the shipment is not visible until the carton is opened, please keep all of the packing materials and the original carton. In either case, please notify Trash Cans Depot within five days, following the submission instructions above. If your order is damaged in shipment, we will either issue credit for the product and the shipping costs, or ship a replacement product at no cost for the product and shipping.

        If you need to return the purchase for any other reason you must contact us within five (5) days at returns@trashcansdepot.com. The customer must pay for the return shipping and a re-stocking fee of 25% for returned items. The items must be returned in their original cartons in new condition. Please note that special orders are non-refundable. 

         

        We work very hard to ensure that we offer the absolute best prices online.  If you find another online store that offers a lower price then us within 30 days of your purchase date, please let us know and we will refund your original payment for the difference.  We want you to feel confident that you are getting the absolute best price for the product you are ordering. If you find that our own website has a lower price for the same item you have ordered within 30 days of your purchase date, will refund the difference as well.

        To request your partial refund simply e-mail us a link to the same product on our website, or on our competitors website within 30 days from the date of your order and we will process the credit accordingly.
